Description

About the Actual Aircraft

The MQ-1 Predator unmanned attack aircraft was discontinued by the U.S. military in 2018. Among the various drones operated by the U.S. military, the Predator was one of the main aircraft with attack capabilities. It entered service in 1995. It measured 8.2 meters in length and had a wingspan of 14.8 meters. It was powered by a four-cylinder gasoline engine and propelled by a tail-mounted propeller. It was equipped with a nose-mounted camera and laser designator, and was remotely controlled from a ground guidance station. It was capable of carrying missiles such as Hellfire and Stinger.

About the Product

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of the MQ-1 Predator. Its unique, canopy-less design is realistically modeled. The finished length is approximately 10 cm, and even at 1/72 scale, its wingspan is approximately 20 cm, making it a striking, distinctive aircraft.

Decals are provided to reproduce the markings that were applied to the aircraft prior to its end of service in 2018.

The reduced number of parts makes assembly easy. This kit recreates the final, heroic appearance of an aircraft that left its mark on history, and is a must-have for aircraft modelers.
