Description

      Suzutsuki was the third ship of the Akizuki-class destroyers and entered service in December 1942. During the Battle of Cape Bōno in April 1945 as part of Operation Ten-Go, her bow was damaged by an attack from aircraft of the US Navy task force, and she was severely damaged, but she managed to return to Sasebo by moving in reverse. After that, she was used as an anti-aircraft battery and remained in service until the end of the war.
