About the Product
Platz's 1/72 scale F-15 Eagle plastic model assembly kit, highly acclaimed among aircraft model enthusiasts, is now available in its second installment: a U.S. Air Force version.
This kit accurately recreates the early F-15C, incorporating new parts.
The exhaust nozzle shape enhances the sharp rear view. The detailed finish is unique to this early model. Of course, the already acclaimed fuselage shape and panel lines are faithfully reproduced for a realistic finish. The attention to detail, including the intricately recreated landing gear, is not to be missed. Furthermore, the cockpit, down to the instrument panel and seat, is reproduced in the detailed detail you'd expect from a 1/72 scale model, resulting in a truly realistic finish. The markings are based on those used by the 18th Tactical Fighter Wing (18TFW) based at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa in the early 1980s. The "Shogun" marking, depicting a Japanese warrior wearing a helmet, is a must-have.
