About the Actual Aircraft
The F-16 fighter jet was developed for the U.S. Air Force and deployed around the world. Its
first flight in 1974 featured a blended-wing body design, integrating the fuselage and wings. It also attracted worldwide attention for its revolutionary fly-by-wire control system, which was revolutionary at the time. It entered service in the U.S. in 1978, but has since undergone repeated improvements and updates, maintaining and demonstrating the latest features and performance. The F-16N model has been used by the U.S. Navy's aggressor forces since 1988, playing the role of a simulated enemy aircraft in air combat training. This Block 30 equivalent aircraft has undergone modifications, including a revised radar and the removal of machine gun and missile capabilities.
