Squadron Signal Publications is excited to resurrect the Planes, Names & Dames book series in an all new exciting form factor! Being put together by Brandon Lowe and Piotr Forkasiewicz, this book is the first in a new series that will feature a large collection of fabulously rendered 3D images focusing primarily on noseart and paint schemes of B-24 Liberators. In addition to being packed full of great pictures and information about these planes, the book will also include a decal set featuring every plane represented in the book. These decals will be avaible in your choice of either 1/48 or 1/72 scale.

About the Authors:
Piotr Forkasiewicz was born on April 11, 1978 in Opole. Piotr has worked in digital art for over 20 years. He created his first animation in simple 2D applications, replacing single pixels with polygons in advanced 3D programs. He has taken part in a variety of projects ranging from graphic and industrial design to digital models, textures, scenography to film and tv animations. His greatest passion is digital pictures focused on military subjects, primarily air and sea. Following the footsteps of traditional artsist, he started creating illustrations for books, magazines, scale model manufacturers and also for individual collectors. His works can be found in collections in England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and The USA.
Brandon Lowe was born July 22, 1985. His interest in the hobby started as a child building model railroad sets with his father. In 2006 he and his father started Free Time Hobbies, an internet based scale model shop focusing primarily on naval subjects. Throughout the years the business grew and today Brandon owns Squadron and has the business located in Ringgold, GA.
