Each variant is specified and comprehensively described with coverage of changes made in its sub-variants. A large chapter is devoted to the Warhawk’s combat service in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations. The book contains many lists of the U.S. and foreign units equipped with various P-40 variants, most succesful pilots and technical data of the key P-40 variants and engines.
