Description
HMS Malaya is the queen Elizabethclass battleship of the last, Launched in 1915 March at the Armstrong Whitworth.
Malaya was hit eight times atJutland, suffering 63 dead and 68 wounded, and fired 215 shells. In World War II she escorted convoys and was damaged by a torpedo from U-106 in 1941. Subsequently she escorted several convoys and supported various operations following theNormandyinvasion until she was decommissioned in 1945.
