About the Product
This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit of the U.S. Air Force's ground attack aircraft, the A-10C.
The parts are manufactured by Italian plastic model manufacturer Italeri. Platz provides Japanese assembly instructions and original packaging, and we've also selected markings for Japanese modelers. This kit allows you to enjoy the quality of an Italeri kit with ease and peace of mind. The aircraft's distinctive form, with its straight wings and twin engines mounted on its back, is impressively reproduced, with a finished overall length of 33.8cm. Not only the aircraft shape but also the panel lines are realistically rendered. Some inspection panels can be assembled open or closed.
The kit also includes a masking sheet for convenient painting of the canopy frame. Enjoy a sharp finish with ease. Of course, the hard points on the underside of the aircraft are also fully equipped for bombs, missiles, and other armaments. The heavy, weighty finish you expect from a flying heavy tank is guaranteed.
The markings are selected from aircraft deployed at Osan Air Base in South Korea, a familiar sight to Japanese aircraft fans and modelers.
The illustrated markings on the inside of the inspection hatch are also reproduced.
This Italeri kit comes with a Japanese instruction manual, making it easy to work on.
