Description

      The Late War British Army 4x2 Heavy Ambulance was a large medical vehicle used by the British Army during World War II.

      It was based on the Austin K2/Y chassis and had a 4x2 wheel drive configuration.

      The ambulance had a crew of four and was able to transport up to eight stretcher patients or twelve sitting patients. It was equipped with medical supplies, including oxygen, morphine, and plasma, as well as a generator for lighting and heating.

      The vehicle was often used in field hospitals and on the front lines to evacuate wounded soldiers to larger medical facilities for treatment.
